Orbiting Planets

Law of Equal AreasThe speed is the largest when near the sun and the smallest when away from the sun.

This law is proven with satellite data from NASA.

Satellites farther up closer to the sun, move faster than those closer to Earth

Law of Ellipses: The orbit of every planet is an ellipse with the sun at one focus and an undefined space at the other focus.

Although the satellite is always falling towards the earth, because of gravity, the right combination of height and speed causes the satellite to fall as much as the earth curves, so the satellite never crashes.
