Orbiting Planets

Law of Equal AreasThe speed is the largest when near the sun and the smallest when away from the sun.

This law is proven with satellite data from NASA.

Satellites farther up closer to the sun, move faster than those closer to Earth

Law of Ellipses: The orbit of every planet is an ellipse with the sun at one focus and an undefined space at the other focus.

Although the satellite is always falling towards the earth, because of gravity, the right combination of height and speed causes the satellite to fall as much as the earth curves, so the satellite never crashes.

  • What is your plan of action for next week? What one thing will you focus on in your writing next week? Why have you chosen what you did? How does it relate to what you’ve done this week?
This week I thought was very hard for me, I couldn't figure out what to write and how to write it. This week I definetely want to spend more time on my piece, and not up until last minute. I think asking for help or advice is something that would probably benefit my piece. Other than that, I can't think of anything else that could help me with writing.
